Mozzarella Sticks
Pertama kali nyobain ini di Rest. Eddy’s di depan rumah Mba Emma, di Hang Lekir. Enakkk. Trus jalan-jalan ke dapurnya Mba Nug, liat ada resepnya. Wah kebetulan banget, stok mozzarella gue sudah harus dihabiskan, takut kelamaan nyimpennya.
Bikin deh. Pertama kali ngegoreng, kejunya lumer, jadi kopong stick-nya. Yang kedua, ga lama-lama, langsung gue angkat, sukses alhamdulillah, jadi juga. Hmm lumayan sebagai cemilan di sore hari (gimana ga genduuutttt bu?)
Makasi Mba Nug, dah gue zontek resep mocarella-nya (eh kebolak yaa?)..;-)

¼ cup flour
1 cup Italian style bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 tablespoon milk
1 lb mozzarella cheese, cut into ¾ inch x ¾ inch strips (or you can use string cheese and cut each in half)
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup jarred pizza sauce or marinara sauce

Whisk eggs and milk together
1. Coat each piece of cheese with flour, then dip in egg and then roll in bread crumbs.
2. Dip in eggs and bread crumbs again.
3. Heat oil in skillet and cook sticks for about a minute on each side, or until golden and before cheese starts to leak.
4. Drain on paper towels.
5. Serve with sauce for dipping.
