Apple, Strawberry, and Mandarin Orange Cobbler

Mudah banget menemukan resep cobbler. Di koleksi buku gue, ada beberapa buku yang memuat resep cobbler. Tidak hanya buku luar, tapi juga buku resep keluaran Primarasa.
Termasuk di buku ini. Buku oleh-oleh dari hubby, ketika ke S’pore beberapa waktu yang lalu.

Limited Edition, katanya. Lumayan bagus sih bukunya.

Diantaranya resep dari Paula Deen, Jamie Deen and Bobby Deen, Sandra Lee, Pam Anderson, Sara Moulton, dan lain-lain.
Dengan riang gembira gue buka halaman demi halaman. Di resep kedua, langsung tertarik dengan cobbler yang disajikan. Resep aslinya sih Blackberry and Peach Cobbler.
Bikin ahhh..boleh dong buahnya gue ganti dengan yang ada.
Hmm liat kulkas, ada strawberry, jeruk mandarin kalengan, dan apel milik Jasmine. Minta satu ya nak..
Sebenernya sih jeruk mandarin kalengan ga cucok kali yaa..secara lembek n banyak airnya gitu. Tapi yah ga papa deh..biar ada warna kuningnya, seger..
Bikinnya gampang banget..semua pasti bisa. Walo gampang, tapi penampakan akhirnya keren abisss..gue suka deh..
Tapi lagi males motret nih..ala kadarnya deh..:-)
Ini resepnya. Gampang banget kan..?
Blackberry and Peach Cobbler
Better Homes and Garden : New Cook Book, Celebrating the Promise (Limited Edition)
Jamie Deen and Bobby Deen
2 cups pitted and sliced peached (about 2 pounds)
2 cups blackberries
½ granulated sugar
2 tablespoon cornstarch
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup packed light brown sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cubed
¾ cup heavycream
Vanilla ice cream (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch square baking pan or casserole dish; set aside.
2. In a bowl toss together the peaches, blackberries, granulated sugar, and cornstarch; set aside. In a second bowl whisk together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the cream until just combined.
3. Spread the fruit mixture in the bottom of the prepared pan. Drop the biscuit batter by spoonfuls on top of the fruit. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until golden brown on top and bubbling. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. If desired, serve with ice cream.

hihihihi…..beberapa hari ini udah kepikiran bikin cobbler. Kalo base-nya buah gue pasti suka deh.
