Sebelum gue masukin lagi postingan Sapo Tahu yang ilang itu, gue masukin ini dulu deh. Lumayan bisa jadi ide untuk kukis Lebaran.
Sumber dari http://allrecipes.com yang udah didownload ke iPhone gue..asyik deh, ada spinner-nya. Kita tinggal klik beberapa kategori, nantinya akan keluar resep-resep yang memenuhi semua kategori tadi.

Kategori pertama : Dish type. Pilihannya : Appetizer, Bread, Breakfast, Cookies, Dessert, Beverage, Main Dish, Salad, Side Dish, dan Soup/Stew.
Kategori kedua : Ingredients. Pilihannya : Cheese, Chicken, Chocolate, Fish, Fruit, Grain, Lamb, Legume, Pasta, Shellfish, Vegetable, dan Beef. Ada satu lagi sih pilihan lain, tapi ga halal buat gue, jadi ga usah gue sebutin ya hehehe..
Kategori ketiga : Ready In. Pilihannya : Any, 20 minutes or less, 45 minutes or less, Over an Hour, dan Slow Cooker.

Mayan lah, daripada puyeng ngintipin bejibun resep, mending langsung ke sasaran kan ? hehe

Hmm dari pertama ngeliat resep ini, dah pengennn banget praktekin. Judulnya yang provokatif banget. N satu lagi yang bikin gue termehek-termehek, coba baca deh review pembaca. Jumlahnya ada 5 ribu lebih review. Wow…rata2 reaksinya heboh..perlu dibaca juga deh review-nya, bisa dapetin tips yang berguna:-)

Trus..hmm..brown sugar gue ganti dengan palm sugar, yang lebih mudah didapat di Jkt. Harusnya sih gue mix dengan gula putih, tapi kmaren gue pakein palm sugar semua.

Trus walnutnya gue rasa harus dipanggang dulu yaa..walo kmaren dah gue potong kecil-kecil banget biar cepet mateng, tapi kayaknya kok tetep kurang memuaskan. Lain kali kalo bikin lagi, walnut gue ganti aja ah ama kacang mete ato hazelnut:-)

Yang harus bener-bener diperhatiin, waktu memanggang. Karena kalo kelamaan, kukis akan kering dan berkurang deh chewy-nya. Yang mnarik dari kukis ini ya chewy yang unik, yang didapat dari instant vanilla pudding mix. Kebayang ga, paduan kukis dengan pudding. Lebih baik waktu memanggang kurang sedikit deh, daripada kelamaan. Kalo di resep ditulis 10-12 menit, di oven gue cukuplah 9 menit. Kalo dah kering, aduh rasanya bubar deh..jadi biasa aja.

Hmmm untuk Lebaran, bikin kukis apa lagi ya?:-)

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

“Everybody wants this recipe when I take them in for a carry-in. To make them award winning, my daughter, Tegan, made them for a cookie baking contest and won a red ribbon! You can use any flavor pudding you like for this recipe.”

• 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 2 cups butter, softened
• 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 2 (3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
• 4 eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
• 2 cups chopped walnuts (optional)

DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour and baking soda, set aside.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
3. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown

Satu lagi resep yang bisa jadi fave gue..di antara sekian banyak resep favorit hehehe

Yah sukanya emang ama yang model-model bgini. Selain moist banget, paduan rasa dari coklat, keju, gula dll..pokoknya suka deh.
Catatan dari gue, ati2 waktu memanggang lapis paling bawah. Karena tipis, jadi cepet gosong. Kalo dah gosong, pait banget.

Triple Decker Fudge Slice
Source : ‘Superb Brownies, Cakes & Slices’ Book (Periplus)

½ cup (60 g/ 2 oz) plain flour
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 tablespoons caster sugar
60 g/2 oz butter, melted
1 tablespoon milk
½ teaspoon vanilla essence

Vanilla topping:
250 g/8 oz cream cheese, cubed
1/3 cup (90 g/3 oz) caster sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Chocolate topping:
125 g/4 oz milk chocolate, chopped
125 g/4 oz butter, chopped
2 eggs, lightly beaten
½ cup (125 g/4 oz) caster sugar
¼ cup (30 g/1 oz) plain flour
Icing sugar, for dusting

1. Line a lightly greased 18 x 28 cm (7 x 11 inch) shallow tin with non-stick baking paper, overhanging two sides.
2. Sift the flour, cocoa and sugar into a bowl. Add the butter, milk and vanilla and mix well to form a dough. Gently knead on a well floured surface for 1 minute, adding more flour if sticky. Press into the tin and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to moderately hot 190°C (375°F/Gas 5).
3. Cover the pastry with baking paper, fill with baking beads or rice and bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove the paper and rice and reduce the heat to moderate 180°C (350°F/Gas 4). Bake for 5-10 minutes, then leave to cool.
4. The make the vanilla topping, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually beat in the sugar, then the egg and vanilla essence. Beat well, pour over the base and refrigerate.
5. To make the chocolate topping, melt the chocolate and butter in a small pan, stirring over very low heat until smooth. Mix together the eggs and sugar. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture and flour until just combined.
6. Pour the chocolate topping over the cold vanilla topping and smooth with a spoon. Reduce the oven to 160°C (315°F/Gas 2-3) and bake for35-40 minutes, or until just set. Leave to cool completely, then refrigerate for 2 hours, or until firm. Dust with icing sugar before cutting.
